Jack Swigert, one of Colorado’s contributions to the National Statuary Hall Collection. You probably know his Hollywood counterpart, Kevin Bacon as Swigert was one of the astronauts on Apollo 13. He was also elected to Congress in 1982, but died from bone cancer before taking office.
